Come see and try for yourself how sheep’s wool is traditionally spun into yarn using carding combs and a spinning wheel or spindle. You can use the yarn to make all sorts of traditional handicrafts. Join in on knotting a communal ryijy and weaving a rug, try your hand at braiding and embroidery, and make your own Karelian flower bird to take home. There are techniques suited for different age groups. Children under school age must participate with an adult.
