Competition time: 2:00–3:30 p.m.; awards ceremony on the main stage following the concert.

The Finnish National Somersault Championships, organized by Vekara-Varkaus, will award the Finnish national somersault championship trophies for the 24th time. This lighthearted competition takes place on a course built by the Varkauden Tarmo wrestling club, featuring various obstacles. The course length is 15 m for the under-9 category and 30 m for the over-9 category.

Competition categories:

Mixed categories: under 5 years old, 5–6 years old, 7–8 years old.

Separate categories for girls and boys: 9–10 years old, 11–14 years old, over 14 years old.

The competition results are determined based on time and the cleanliness of the performance (number of somersaults). The top three in each category will be awarded trophies. There will be an opportunity to practice on the course before the competition. The competition area will be closed to the public during the event.

Registration for the competition takes place on-site. Weather permitting; the competition will not be held in the event of rain. The wrestling division of Varkauden Tarmo will serve as officials and judges for the competition.
