Members of the UNICEF Varkaus volunteer group will read aloud from the book Short Stories. The book is a project initiated by Dr. Jenni Haukio, which brings together stories by Finnish authors and the dreams and drawings of Ukrainian children who have moved to Finland. The Finnish-language story is about the future, and the bilingual story (in English and Finnish) is about every child’s right to safety.
